Serves 2-4 People.
Ingredients
1/2 Packet of spaghetti of your choice.
500-750gm Mince Beef (2-4 serves)
1-2 Cube of Beef stock powder. Oxo make great ones
2 Onions diced
4 cloves garlic diced
1-2 Tsp garam masala
1-2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1-2 Tsp cumin powder
1-2 Tsp white pepper
1-2 Tsp Ginger Powder
1-2 Tsp Chilli Flakes
1-2 Tbsp of breadcrumbs
1 Egg Yolk
1/3 Cup Olive oil / Vege Oil.
1/2 Cup plain flour
Simmer Sauce:
1/3 Cup of tomato sauce
1/4 Cup of wooster sauce
Splash of soy sauce
1. Put the mince into a bowl and squash it up the sides of the mixing bowl to thin it out.
2. Add the onion, garlic, spices, egg yolk, breadcrumbs and chilli flakes to the mix; combine well.
3. Roll into small meatballs and cover with plain flour.
4. Shallow fry in the oil until well browned turning every few minutes, use a fork so you dont break them up
5. When cooked, remove all the oil except for about 1-2 Tbsp and put on a low flame
6. Add the simmer sauce to the meatballs and cook slowly until it thickens and the meatballs are well coated.
7. Serve on top of your al dente spaghetti and top with plain cheese or parmesan.
